New Horizons ReWired Adult Ensemble
The ReWired Adult String Ensemble is a welcoming group for adult string players who want to reconnect with music, build their skills, and experience the joy of playing together. Whether you are returning to your instrument after many years or continuing your musical journey as an adult learner, this ensemble provides a supportive and encouraging environment.
Participants work on ensemble playing, listening skills, rhythm, and musical expression while rehearsing a variety of repertoire appropriate for developing players. The focus is on growth, community, and the shared experience of making music together.
The ensemble meets regularly for rehearsals and may have opportunities to perform in informal concerts and community events. No matter when you started your musical journey, it is never too late to learn, grow, and make music with others.
New Horizons International Music Association (NHIMA) is an international non-profit organization committed to New Horizons’ philosophy of music-making and undertakes initiatives designed to support the development and growth of New Horizons music organizations.

Who This Class Is For
The ensemble is a welcoming group of adult string players (violin, viola, cello, and bass) who rehearse together in a supportive environment. Participants range from returning musicians to adults who are continuing their musical journey and want the joy of playing with others in jazz, hiphop, R&B and Gospel. Maybe a litlle classical.
